Who runs Pacifitec? 

With over 20 years of professional tech experience for the creative sector, Andrew Rose started Pacifitec to assist his clients and colleagues in the local arts community and found a broad need for dedicated Apple® support for individuals and small businesses across the Hawaiian Islands and beyond.

What if I have a problem and need help this second? 

All emergencies receive immediate attention. Period.

Where are you and will you come to me?

Pacifitec is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, just minutes from Waikiki, and offers in-person, on-site appointments as well as live chat and over-the-phone help so you can request a same-day support. Using the latest in Remote Desktop technology, we can screen share and troubleshoot your MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad or iMac wherever you are on the planet: your home, your office, your vacation, or the other side of the globe - all from our headquarters on Oahu.

Do you get to neighbor islands?

State-wide appointments are available, and sometimes can be arranged same-day, depending on flights. As Pacifitec is the only islands-wide concierge-level consultant service for Apple products, you are in good hands wherever you are. 

What about the mainland and beyond?

West Coast, East Coast, and international appointments are also available.

When are you available?

How long is it going to take?

Usually we identify your situation in under an hour and resolve it the same day.

I've got a serious emergency - what can you do to help me? 

Pacifitec can do a lot within 24 hours: on-site assessment and triage, coordinate authorized repair with OEM parts, facilitate AppleCare® work orders, and manage express data recovery. There are limits to what is achievable no matter how much time or money is allocated, and we will always give you truthful assessments without concern for profit or convenience. When you need someone to go the extra mile, Pacifitec will, no questions asked.

Do you perform physical repairs, jailbreak phones, or use third-party parts?

No, Pacifitec does not perform or use any unauthorized service or product. We do everything we can to provide service as a consultant via Apple-authorized channels, including AppleCare, the Apple Store, and Apple’s established retail partners. Any requests to perform or use warranty-voiding services or products will be politely refused.

I have sensitive data I’d prefer not to share - how do you handle privacy?

Any and all requests for respect of your privacy, encryption, or other compliance with NDAs and similar confidential content will be honored by Pacifitec. However, there are many occasions when, in order to fully solve your problem, we will need to have access to areas of your technology where sensitive data may reside. By engaging Pacifitec, you indemnify and hold it harmless against any and all claims regarding data breaches, loss, or access. Please see the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more information. Furthermore, Pacifitec will never, under any circumstances, voluntarily share your private data unless required by law.

I've been hacked and my data is stolen - what do I do before you get here?

The first thing you do is… DON’T DO ANYTHING! Pacifitec recommends engaging a professional before you reply to any phishing attempts, lockout ransoms, or other actions. Text our emergency number for immediate help.

We need ongoing help to get a big project done - are you available for that kind of thing?

We'll gladly help you set up an office, home, or mobile technology suite, make purchases, or consult on design and print projects. In servicing the Apple family of products, Pacifitec assists clients not only with original Apple-made technology, but also Apple-compatible products such as audio-visual equipment, cameras, printers, and smart home devices. Check out our affordable rates, you may just be surprised how convenient it is to contract your own, dedicated, on-site Apple specialist.

I manage a hotel/building/airport lounge/country club/car rental/sales office - can I contract directly with you on behalf of my clients?

Yes, absolutely. Pacifitec offers a variety of pay-as-you-go and contract subscription options. We can meet you and your clients at your property or wherever they are in the field so you can provide them with first-class service and peace of mind.

I need to hire someone to work exclusively and directly with me while I’m on a trip - can you provide a personal assistant Apple expert?

Pacifitec has been providing one-on-one support to individuals and groups in travel, education, corporate and creative environments for over 20 years. We can contract with you for dedicated genius-quality personal assistance with discounted day rates for wherever you may be based - on or off the Hawaiian islands.

I’ve been using my Apple products for a while and don’t want to spend a lot on upgrades - do you service older technology?

Yes, we love vintage Apple products! In fact, sometimes newer isn’t better at all. Unfortunately, however, Apple and its product partners have a regular process of retiring hardware and software. While Pacifitec will do everything possible to extend the life of your beloved items, be aware every Apple product will eventually need to be upgraded. We can work with you on an upgrade plan, as well as provide ways to save hundreds, if not thousands, when you do decide to replace your products.

Are you a division or department of Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California?

No, Pacifitec is a proudly independent Apple product family service provider, and is neither endorsed nor sponsored by Apple Inc.

Will you ever give me up or let me down?
